Cookie policy.

This cookie policy explains which cookies and similar technologies Novi Marine uses and how you can control them.

Last updated: 28 September 2026

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files that a website can store in your browser. We also use local browser storage (localStorage), scripts and embedded content. Cookie rules also apply to similar technologies where information is stored on or read from your device.

2. Your choice

On your first visit you can accept optional categories or select Adjust to choose by category. Necessary storage is always enabled because the website cannot operate securely or correctly without it. You can change your choice through Cookie preferences at the bottom of every page. Your choice is retained for up to 180 days.

3. Technologies we use

  • nm_consent_v1 (localStorage) — necessary: remembers your choices and policy version. Retained for up to 180 days.
  • WordPress login and security cookies — necessary: only relevant to authorised administrators or visitors to the login page. Retained for the session to up to 1 year, depending on the cookie.
  • _ga — analytics: distinguishes visitors using a random client ID, only after analytics consent. Up to 2 years by default.
  • _ga_<container-id> — analytics: persists session state, only after analytics consent. Up to 2 years by default.
  • YouTube and Google Maps — external media: load only after you allow external media. The provider may then use cookies, local storage and device/connection information. Retention depends on the provider and browser settings.

4. Google Analytics and Consent Mode

We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode. Analytics storage is denied by default. The Analytics cookies listed above may only be set after you allow analytics. Google signals and ad personalisation are disabled.

Because the Google tag loads with a denied default state, Google may receive limited cookieless signals when consent is denied. No Analytics client ID is then stored in a cookie. These signals may be used for aggregated and modelled reporting.

5. Marketing

The consent manager includes a separate marketing choice. No marketing tag is currently configured, so this choice does not currently activate a marketing cookie. If that changes, we will update this policy before enabling the tag.

6. External media

YouTube videos and Google Maps are blocked by default. When you allow external media or select Load external content, your browser connects to the provider. It then receives technical information such as IP address, browser and time and may use its own storage. See Google’s privacy policy.

7. Deleting or blocking cookies

You can withdraw optional consent through Cookie preferences in the footer. The website then attempts to delete known optional cookies and reloads the page. You can also delete or block cookies and local storage through your browser. Some features may then work less effectively.

8. Contact and changes

Questions can be sent to info@novi-marine.com. We may update this policy when our website, suppliers or applicable rules change. Read our privacy policy for more information.
