Patrol & monitoring
Patrol RIBs.
Looking to charter or buy a Patrol RIB? Novi Marine helps you configure a patrol boat around your operating area, crew and tasks. From regular patrols to temporary assignments around a project, the vessel is matched to the way your team works.
Overview
A patrol boat built around your work
For patrol and monitoring duties, the boat needs to support the way the team works. Harbours, inland waterways and coastal areas each place different demands on a vessel. Patrol duration, crew numbers and equipment also help determine which Patrol RIB suits your organisation.
Novi Marine advises on model selection, engines and deck layout. We consider the helm position, seating, storage and boarding arrangements. Navigation and communications are part of the configuration, helping the boat fit your patrol duties and procedures.

Frequently asked questions
Patrol RIB FAQs
When does Novi Marine recommend an open Patrol RIB or a Cabin RIB?
An open RIB provides direct working space and freedom of movement around the deck. A Cabin RIB may be better for longer patrols, frequent poor-weather operation or a sheltered workplace. Shift duration, operating area and duties guide the choice.
How does Novi Marine avoid treating console equipment as separate add-ons?
Navigation, VHF, intercom, data links, lighting and sirens are designed, installed and tested as one system. Where standard brackets do not fit, Novi Marine can design holders and enclosures in CAD and produce them in house.
How is patrol boat range matched to the duty cycle?
Novi Marine reviews transit distances, speed, patrol duration, load and opportunities to refuel. Propulsion and fuel capacity are then matched to the planned operation without losing sight of working space and weight distribution.
Can a Patrol RIB be chartered temporarily and purchased later?
A RIB can be chartered for temporary patrols or additional capacity. When the duty becomes permanent, Novi Marine can also guide the selection and configuration of an owned vessel, including transport, storage, maintenance and mission equipment.
