An Italian film producer needed a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) for his film recordings. Novi Marine was contacted for the flexible rental formulas and because deliveries could be made on short notice. The rented RIB in question was the Gemini WR650 RIB ‘Kralendijk’, this 2019 RIB is in new condition and was transformed into a French police boat for the shoot.
The recordings were shot in the impressive indoor water film studio Lites Studios in Vilvoorde, Belgium. The 9-metre-deep basin holds up to 6 million litres and maintains a constant water temperature of 30°C, an absolutely unique location. Novi Marine also took care of transport to and from the studio. The Gemini WR650 rental RIB looked great in this context.

Stealing the scene in the pool
In the scene, the rented RIB Gemini WR650 ‘Kralendijk’ intercepts a smuggling RIB. The pool was completely transformed into a nighttime setting with bad weather, waves, rain, wind and even thunder.
